PJ Nights are late-night hangouts designed for slowing down, getting comfortable, and enjoying good company together. It’s a place to unwind at the end of the week, settle in, and share time without pressure or expectations.
PJ Pals Experiences are rotating themed nights that add variety to the usual PJ Pals hangout. These ideas may change, evolve, or be shaped by the community, but they all exist to create easygoing moments and shared memories. Some themes are simple, others more playful or visual, but participation is always optional. What you see here is just a sampling of the directions PJ Pals can go as the community grows.
PJ Pals Snack & Chat is a relaxed hangout built around familiar treats and easy conversation. These events may feature snack themes like ice cream, coffee and pie, tea and pastries, or hot cocoa and donuts. The snacks and props help set a comfortable tone, giving everyone something simple to gather around while chatting, unwinding, and hanging out together in PJs.
PJ Pals Stargazing takes the hangout outdoors and centers the night around the view above. These nights happen on balconies, rooftops, or yacht decks, where guests settle in with seating, blankets, and open skies. Stargazing can stand on its own or blend with light themes like space-inspired props, telescopes, or wine nights, creating a calm, scenic backdrop for conversation.
PJ Pals Booze & Snooze is a playful, late-night hangout that often serves as the final stop of the evening. Themes may rotate between wine nights, martini setups, margaritas, or other drink-inspired visuals used strictly as atmosphere. The focus isn’t on drinking, but on winding down together, sharing conversation, and ending the night in a comfortable, familiar space.
For details on this event style and our expectations, please review the PJ Pals House Rules.
PJ Pals Paws & Pajamas adds a lighthearted, imaginative layer to the hangout by inviting pets and companion-themed props into the space. This can include in-game pets, favorite animals, fantasy creatures, or whimsical companions like fairies, angels, or dragons. The companions act as conversation starters rather than a requirement, giving animal lovers and creative minds an easy way to connect.
PJ Pals Holiday Hangouts are special events designed around seasonal themes and celebrations. These gatherings step outside the usual Saturday night wind-down and lean into playful, festive energy. Halloween, winter holidays, and other seasonal moments may inspire themed parties, music nights, or immersive experiences. Holiday Hangouts allow PJ Pals to experiment creatively while keeping the familiar community atmosphere intact.
PJ Pals Bedtime Stories is a relaxed indoor theme centered around storytelling and shared interests. Conversations may touch on books, movies inspired by books, classic bedtime stories, mysteries, spooky tales, anime, comics, or nostalgic favorites. The topic shifts naturally based on who’s present, creating an easy flow between listening, sharing, and conversation.
PJ Pals Pool Parties are seasonal late-night hangouts that bring the PJ Pals vibe down to the water. Set near the yacht below the cliffside shore house, guests may lounge on deck chairs, float in the water, or relax aboard the yacht itself. While pajamas are central to PJ Pals, pool nights allow for swimwear, lounge wear, and beach-themed outfits that fit the setting, creating a relaxed summer atmosphere with conversation at the center.
PJ Pals Show & Tell is a grown-up twist on a familiar childhood idea. Guests gather indoors in PJs to share something meaningful, nostalgic, creative, or simply fun. This could be a favorite item, a first design, a special prop, a place that no longer exists, or a story worth telling. The open format encourages conversation, laughter, and connection without turning the night into a performance.
PJ Pals Comfort Overboard shifts the hangout beyond the shore house and yachts, using a variety of waterfront, relaxed, or nostalgic There locations. The setting may include yachts, dock areas, special event spaces, or familiar places from the past that invite people to settle in and unwind together. Light nautical or environment-inspired touches may appear from time to time, but the focus stays on conversation, comfort, and enjoying a change of scenery while keeping the familiar PJ Pals atmosphere.
PJ Pals began as a simple idea: to create a space at the end of Saturday night where people could slow down and simply be together. No performance. No pressure. Just a warm space to land after a long week.
At its heart, PJ Pals is about connection. Pajamas are part of the fun, but they’re really just a symbol of the night itself, comfort, openness, and letting your guard down. Some nights are quiet and relaxed, spent chatting indoors or lounging together. Other nights take us outside, overlooking the water, gathered by a fire, or under the stars. The setting may change, but the feeling stays the same: calm, welcoming, and shared.
PJ Pals works because of the people who show up. It’s the conversations, the laughter, and the moments where no one’s ready to leave yet. This isn’t just an event, it’s a shared community moment. We were already pals. PJ Pals is simply where we get to be that way together, just in PJs.
The hubby and the wifey met on There.com back in 2008. What began as a game slowly turned into real conversations, real friendship, and eventually real love. We were married on Valentine’s Day and built a life together beyond the screen, including a family and years of shared memories.
Nearly seventeen years later, There.com still holds a special place for us, not just as a game, but as the place where our story truly began. PJ Pals is an extension of that same sense of connection and community that brought us together in the first place.
Being a PJ Pal means choosing kindness, comfort, and community.
You come as you are. Pajamas are encouraged, but openness and respect matter most. Conversations are easy, hearts are open, and everyone helps keep the space welcoming and relaxed. There’s no pressure to perform or keep up, just show up, unwind, and be present.
PJ Pals unwind together. We listen. We linger. We make space for one another. We were already pals, just in PJs.
The PJ Pals space is designed to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. People come and go at their own pace, conversations flow naturally, and the focus stays on shared time and mutual respect.
Whether the night is quiet or lively, planned or spontaneous, the space works because everyone helps keep it easy, welcoming, and inclusive. It’s a place to relax, not impress.
PJ Pals is meant to be fun, warm, and welcoming. Humor and personality are part of the vibe, but respect always comes first. To keep the space comfortable for everyone, certain topics and behaviors are kept off the table.
These guidelines aren’t about restriction; they exist to protect the atmosphere and the people who make PJ Pals what it is. A full breakdown is available below, so expectations stay clear and the night stays easygoing.
PJ Pals is an adult, late-night social space built around comfort, conversation, and community. To keep the environment welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, we maintain a clear set of expectations. These guidelines exist to protect the space, the hosts, and the people who show up to relax and unwind together.
By attending or participating in any PJ Pals event, you agree to the following expectations.
Respect Comes First
PJ Pals is a respect-first environment. Friendly humor, casual conversation, and light adult themes are welcome, but behavior that becomes crude, aggressive, threatening, or intentionally uncomfortable for others is not. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and safe in the space.
Off-Limits Topics
Topics involving race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, politics, or personal ideology are not part of PJ Pals events. These boundaries exist to ensure no one feels singled out, pressured, debated, or excluded. If a topic risks creating discomfort or tension, it does not belong in this space.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, or repeated unwanted attention of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes comments, jokes, gestures, messages, or behavior directed at individuals or groups. Personal boundaries must be respected at all times.
Not a Performance Space
PJ Pals is not a performance space. There is no pressure to entertain, impress, flirt, roleplay, or participate beyond your comfort level. Everyone is encouraged to show up as themselves, respect their own boundaries, and allow others to do the same.
Booze & Snooze Clarification
PJ Pals Booze & Snooze events may include drink-themed props or visual elements as part of the atmosphere. Actual drinking is never required or encouraged, and intoxicated, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. These nights remain social, relaxed, and respectful, consistent with all PJ Pals expectations.
Moderator Authority
Hosts and moderators reserve the right to intervene, redirect conversation, issue warnings, or remove individuals when necessary to protect the comfort, safety, and tone of the group. These decisions are made in the best interest of the community and are final.
Adults Only
PJ Pals events are intended for adults only. By attending, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own discretion, and that you agree to follow these standards so the space remains relaxed, inviting, and enjoyable for everyone.
We always enjoy hearing from our pals. Whether you have a question about an event, an idea you’d love to see, or just want to reach out and say hello, this is the place to do it. PJ Pals is built on connection and conversation, and that starts with open communication. Don’t hesitate to drop us a message.
Questions usually come up about event times, themes, locations, or whether a night includes games or activities. If you’re unsure about what’s planned or just want a quick answer before joining an event, this is the place to ask.
If it’s your first time, there’s no pressure to jump in or participate in anything you’re not comfortable with. Some people dive right into conversation, while others hang back and ease in at their own pace. Both are perfectly fine. PJ Pals is meant to be relaxed and comfortable, with easy conversation and good company as everyone winds down together at the end of Saturday night.
PJ Pals is a comfy, late-night hangout where people gather to chat, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. Some nights include light, conversation-friendly games like Two Truths and a Lie or 20 Questions. Other times, a small card game may be going nearby, making it easy to listen in, join casually, or move between games and conversation. Occasionally there may be giveaways or sponsored prizes, but most nights are simply about pals in PJs talking, laughing, and easing into the end of the evening.
Yes. PJ Pals is always evolving, with more ideas than can fit on the site at any one time. A few early concepts include a murder mystery night and PJ Pals Rise and Relax, a Sunday morning cartoon hangout designed for early risers or those who missed Saturday night. Rise and Relax keeps the PJ Pals vibe going in a laid-back morning setting, with familiar cartoons playing in the background while pals chat and ease into the day before other popular Sunday events.
Yes, giveaways sometimes happen, usually toward the end of an event. Prizes may come from sponsored sources, PJ Pals directly, community donations, or through Thumdar. Occasionally, special prize events may collect entries over time rather than during a single night. Giveaways are never guaranteed and are meant to be a fun bonus, not the focus. PJ Pals is about relaxing, hanging out, and enjoying the time together, whether there’s a prize involved or not.
To celebrate our Saturday nights together, PJ Pals is hosting a special three-month giveaway just for the community. From January 1 through March 31, pals can earn entries simply by showing up, hanging out, and being part of the experience. At the end of the giveaway run, one grand prize winner will receive 150,000 T-Bucks, with prizes distributed during the PJ Pals event on April 4.
Entries are earned weekly through event attendance, with additional entries awarded for pajamas and official PJ Pals wear once available. To enter, pals must post a photo to the PJ Pals group feed on Thumdar using the required title format so entries can be counted accurately and fairly. Attendance is always verified to keep things honest for everyone.
This giveaway is meant to add a little extra fun, not pressure. Giveaways may happen, but they are never the reason PJ Pals exists. PJ Pals is about comfort, connection, and winding down together at the end of the week. If prizes happen along the way, that is just a bonus.
